I have been using 2 articles of yours on this blog ("taxi" and "net bar"), in one of my English classes (I am a Chinese teacher of English), to show my students what is "culture shock" , I hope you won't mind my doing that. Also, to borrow a tip from one of the textbooks that I am currently using, "try to understand and appreciate people in another culture from their point of view," although it will not make things go better, it will probably make you FEEL better. You should feel lucky actually, because you have other choices, "take it or leave it," but for those who don't have other choices, who will stay in this culture for good, "take it happily, or take it anyway."
